ICE London 2022, the industry’s biggest iGaming event is over, and we are happy that we were part of it. This year’s edition was a blast, so we wanted to share some EveryMatrix insights through a series of videos featuring interviews with our key executives.
Erik Nyman, who leads EveryMatrix’s expansion in the promising U.S. market by building the organization as President Americas since 2020.
Erik shared some of his insights on the huge potential of iGaming in the U.S., how important it is to be present in this growing market, and the vast potential lying ahead of states like New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Also, he told us about the iGaming evolution in the U.S. since its reopening in 2016.
“I think it’s very important to be in the US and to understand the landscape. You can look at it from a state-by-state level, and you can also look at the various operators we have in the market, and the commercial casinos.”
“The U.S. market, even in a very early stage, was significantly bigger than Europe, before it was closed. Then, the PASPA repeal created a completely different awareness in the market. Three states are expected to surpass casino revenues of Europe in the next couple of years. That’s quite remarkable…the potential is huge.”
When EveryMatrix established its footprint in the US, it made sure that our content would fit the localised markets. It is important to understand the customer’s needs and to create custom games that would cater to each individual state.
