By 2022, bet-at-home faced a turning point. Technology was moving fast, costs were rising and regulations in key markets were tightening. In response to these challenges, the Group underwent a large-scale transformation, marked by a strategic shift from in-house development to partnering with a full-service platform provider.

The turning point: One goal, two massive projects

bet-at-home needed more than just a new platform. They wanted a modern, feature-rich multi-channel sports and gaming experience, ready to serve millions of their clients across regulated markets. And they needed it fast.

EveryMatrix’s turnkey technology was the perfect answer to their needs, so they chose us. There were two main projects:

  • A .COM solution under Malta licencing
  • A .DE product meeting strict German regulatory standards

Building them both at the same time? That was the real challenge.

How we did it: 12 teams, one shared goal

From the very first day, we approached the project like a puzzle. We assembled 12 specialised teams, each focused on each technical requirement, distributing our resources into individual areas. This had a major positive impact on the speed of delivery.

The front-end was built entirely to bet-at-home’s specifications, packed with features and functionalities their requested, and designed to scale.

Thanks to this approach, we moved fast:

  • The .COM platform was live six months after development work commenced
  • Germany (.DE) followed just a few months later, going live in October 2023

Both projects adhered to compliance standards and safer gambling regulations.
