Today we’ll get to know Mihai better. Let’s learn something from his experience!

How did your career in EveryMatrix start? What’s your favourite thing about working here?

I joined EveryMatrix more than 7 years ago as a Front-End Developer. From the start, I loved the culture of the company. Coming from a media agency, the workload and pace needed were not so different, but the projects were more complex, and this was a win for me at that time.

As the years passed, I understood that this company is a place where you can learn and grow, so I think this is my favorite thing.

What was your first job?

I got my first official job at 18, it was at divahair.ro, as a photo editor and HTML and CSS developer. Before that, in high school, I did a lot of PC hardware and Windows reinstalls.

What’s one of your biggest work pet peeves?

I really do get “upset” when I see people that do not care about their work. People need to understand and learn that if you care about what you are doing, it will be, first, easier, and second, you will become better at it.

Are you an early bird or a night owl? Give us your top productivity piece of advice.

Early bird.

Productivity-wise: I did not find the right recipe yet, but what worked for me was discipline. Make a plan and try as much as possible to stick to it.

What personality trait do you most attribute your success to, and why?

I don’t think my personality helped very much when it comes to my career and evolution. What I did notice throughout the years is that hard work and consistency pay off. What I can tell you for a fact is that my personality changed once I got better at doing my job.

What would you tell your younger self?

Don’t sell your bitcoin.

What is your biggest guilty pleasure?

Chocolate! That’s why I’m fat.

Name one thing everyone should add to their Bucket List.

I won’t say 1 thing to add because each one’s bucket list is unique, as it should be. I would just say this: start doing what makes you happy, stop postponing it!

What would you do if you were gifted a million dollars, no strings attached?

Open one self-carwash, one self-laundromat, 10% for travel around the world and the rest invest.
