Reporting live from EveryMatrix Bucharest 🙂
While it’s Saturday and the show started at 10AM, an unexpected number of participants showed up.
The theme is MVC 1.0 with Java EE 8. It’s not something we work with on a daily basis, so the opportunity for learning something new, while hands on working on a project, sits right here in our kitchen.
This is the first time we sponsored a Java Meetup, and the first time the meetup was 5% presentation and 95% actually applying the new concepts right then and there, as a workshop. Giving that everyone is extremely quiet and typing really fast, I can safely assume the Organizers’ initiative is a success.
So thank you Bucharest Java User Group for letting us be a part of this and we are looking forward to the next meetings.
This HR team member was physically present, but understood little and promptly drifted off. Then went wandering the company in search of leftover pizza and beer. Coffee. I mean coffee.
