OddsMatrix has 150 staff, including developers, project managers, trading and support, sales and account management. And has clients in Europe, Africa, and Latin America – and is now pushing for entry into the newly regulated US market.  OddsMatrix stands out as one of the most modern solutions in the marketplace, with highly advanced technology and one of the few providers with a truly omnichannel offering covering both online and retail.

The overall objective of OddsMatrix is to deliver a world-class user experience, regardless of device, for our players. This will be achieved jointly by the development and operational teams in the Bucharest, Lviv, Zagreb, Changsha, and Chiang Mai offices.

Our future OddsMatrix CEO will be responsible for the progress and performance, commercially and technically, of the entire OddsMatrix Business Unit. OddsMatrix has its own internal P&L and you’ll have much autonomy to manage the unit within the budget agreed with Group CEO.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete responsibility over for developing and growing the product revenues;
  • Responsible for all decisions related to the product beyond product development, through its entire lifecycle;
  • Managing personnel within the division (organizing internal team structures and coordinating with subordinate team leaders and HR to assuring optimal staffing);
  • Responsible for budgeting;
  • Building on the existent strategy and the vision of OddsMatrix;
  • Implementing the strategic plan that guides the direction of the product development;
  • Maintaining awareness of the competitive landscape as well as opportunities for expansion and new markets;
  • Ensure team growth and motivation.
  • Makes high-level decisions about the policy and strategy;
  • Provides executive leadership across the department;
  • Sets business goals and roadmap;
  • Evaluates the success of the product and  department;
  • Develops and implements operational policies;
  • Acts as the primary spokesperson for OddsMatrix;
  • Is responsible for client portfolio development objectives, results and budgets;
  • Maps market opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 5 years experience in a similar role with B2B or potentially B2C (with in-house development of sports products);
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful business;
  • Excellent understanding of betting software;
  • Proven ability to develop and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management;
  • Understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet management;
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing a team of at least 30 employees;
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly on new issues and to make sound judgments on them;
  • Having a can-do, problem-solving attitude;
  • Strong influencing skills;
  • Strongly developed commercial ability, including the ability to engage with top leads and clients of OddsMatrix;
  • Ability to inspire confidence and create trust;
  • Ability to plan own workload effectively and delegate;
  • Sociable personality;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Problem-solving skills.

Work Life Balance:

  • 33 days off per year, including public holidays, rising to 43 by year 5 inside the company;
  • 10 sick leave days per year (without a doctor’s note);
  • 40% work from home, over any 3-month period;
  • If returning to work soon after having child, 1 year 100% WFH for mothers;
  • WFH after child is born – for fathers: 13 weeks of 100% WFH (from the day of the birth of the child);
