Network Engineer

Job Summary:

EveryMatrix is looking for a passionate and dedicated Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure team.

Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • The Network Engineer will be responsible of managing and maintaining Everymatrix’s enterprise network and the design of the network infrastructure.
  • Install and configure network equipment: switches, routers, firewalls, access points;
  • Configure VPN solutions: site-to-site, remote access, IPSEC and SSL;
  • Network Maintenance: make sure all equipment is monitored, alerts are being sent, documentation is updated;
  • Implement new network security and monitoring solutions;
  • Help helpdesk and system administration team to handle network problems;
  • Troubleshoot network related problems in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years – Various Networks (routers, switches, firewalls);
  • Excellent knowledge of routing, switching and network protocols (DHCP, ARP, dot1q, OSPF, BGP);
  • Knowledge of Linux;
  • Experience with software defined networking is a plus
  • Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree in technical field;
  • Nice to have: Networking certifications or hands-on experience with CCNA/ CCNP, JNCIA/ JNCIS/ JNCIP are a plus;
  • Availability for on-call work schedule;
  • Fluency in English, both written & spoken;
  • Strong analytic and research skills;
  • Problem-solving skills;
  • Passionate about technology;
  • Hard worker with a can do attitude;
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving attitude.

Work Life Balance:

  • 33 days off per year, including public holidays, rising to 43 by year 5 inside the company
  • 10 sick leave days per year (without a doctor’s note).
  • 40% work from home, over any 3-month period
  • If returning to work soon after having child, 1 year 100% WFH for mothers
  • WFH after child is born – for fathers: 13 weeks of 100% WFH (from the day of the birth of the child)
