Middle DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Engineer familiar with DevOps methodologies. The role will focus on the automation of workflows, primarily facilitating the CI/CD process for the developing teams and also maintaining servers, web services performance tuning, implementing server monitoring and logging.
Apart for technical knowledge and thirst for learning new technologies, the ideal candidate would also be a good mentor for other engineers/developers to embrace DevOps mentality.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years as Linux Sysadmin/DevOps:
• Deep knowledge in Centos Linux, WindowsServer 2016.
• Experience in Deployment pipelines for CI/CD with tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins.
• Experience in Infrastructure as code and comfortable in using orchestration and configuration tools such as Terraform, Ansible as well as scripting in Bash.
• Deep knowledge in Docker containers orchestration tools and platforms like Kubernetes, Docker-compose.
• Knowledge in setting up, clustering and maintaining databases, storages and streaming platforms such as PostgreSQL, Kafka, Consul, Zookeeper,  Elasticsearch, Redis, RabbitMQ.
• Experience in monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Nagios, Grafana,
• Networking expertise in load balancing, firewalls, DNS, WAF, CDN.
• Experience in operating system administration: Linux and Windows;
• Experience in Deployment pipelines for CI/CD with tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins;
• Comfortable in using orchestration and configuration tools such as Terraform, Ansible;
• Experience with using one or more of the main cloud providers (Google Cloud, AWS);
• Good knowledge with monitoring tools like Nagios, Prometheus (exporters, Prometheus query language), Grafana, NewRelic;
• Knowledge in setting up, clustering and maintaining Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Haproxy, Nginx, Redis, Redis, Zookeeper;
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience in logging tools such as FluentD, ELK stack;
• Source code management tools (Git);
• Scripting and software development skills (Bash, Power-Shell);
• Hands-on experience with Hashicorp products like consul and vault;
• Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle;
• Enthusiastic about collaborating with software developers to architect solutions;
• A driving passion to improve existing processes, systems and workflows;
• Ability to identify problem areas and create elegant solutions;
• Technical degree or equivalent work experience;
Will be a plus:
• Experience with Helm package manager;
• Experience with Kubernetes service mesh tools like Istio;
• Experience in RPM build tools like mock, rpmbuild.
