We are looking for a Junior Games QA for Spearhead Studios – creating premium, mobile-optimized HTML5 casino gaming experiences for a global audience.

We partner with an ever-increasing number of 3rd party games studios who build 100+ games a year onto our RGS Matrix platform. This role is focused on ensuring that these 3rd party games function correctly in a wide variety of jurisdictions to ensure compliance and great player experiences. In addition the successful candidate will provide support to our existing QA, compliance and release management team for our internal games production studio.

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and undertaking manual tests according to test plans to verify that new games and their features work as required for various jurisdictional requirements.
  • Writing and tracking bug reports for 3rd party studios in Gitlab, ensuring all relevant information and attachments are included.
  • Conducting localization reviews to ensure games properly support required languages and currencies.
  • Checking that games meet specific casino operator requirements.
  • Working closely with the 3rd party development team to verify bug fixes and provide additional information as needed.
  • Assisting with the collation and updating of documentation required for certification of games in regulated markets.
  • Collaborating with internal release management team to ensure good coordination and timely game releases.
  • Sharing game status with RGS Matrix commercial and account management team to ensure visibility of game statuses.

Requirements:

  • Accuracy in reporting issues, all steps to reproduce and observed behavior.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and procedures or keen to learn.
  • Awareness of various platforms and their differences (mobile, desktop, iOS, Android).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking).
  • Ability to communicate technical problems concisely and professionally.
  • Detail-oriented, organized and analytical.
  • Team player.
  • Able to provide pragmatic solutions against tight time-frames.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in manual functional testing.
  • Basic knowledge of issue trackers like JIRA.
  • Previous experience working in the iGaming industry.
