IT Helpdesk Officer

We are looking for a bright IT Help-desk Officer to strengthen our Infrastructure team.

Responsibilities:

  • Should have outstanding organization and communication skills;
  • Ensures that Support Services meet (or exceed) internally prescribed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs);
  • Works closely with other IT teams to ensure smooth escalations, close working relationships and effective end-to-end customer assistance;
  • Creates a customer-centric culture for all areas of responsibility and the IT department as a whole;
  • This position also requires mobility, international travel being necessary;
  • Responsible for new employees on-boarding – preparing the workplace, accounts, explaining basic internal company systems and redirecting to pertinent administrators for various access needs;
  • Various internal platforms administration;
  • Actively involved in all IT related purchases (phones, laptops, desktops, monitors, printers and consumables, servers, upgrades, various software);
  • Basic Printers, WAN and LAN maintenance (router configuration, cleaning printers, replacing printer cartridges and clearing paper jams, replacing broken LAN or phone cables or connectors);
  • Keep track of and add to internal inventory systems of all new and existent IT equipment.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of information technology infrastructure;
  • Various operating systems: Windows 10 and MacOS (Linux is a bonus);
  • Networking: TCP/IP, wired and wireless networks configuration, VPNs;
  • PC Hardware configuration & diagnostic;
  • Network peripherals: multi-functional printers, scanners etc;
  • Networking services and protocols: DHCP, DNS, SMTP, IMAP, Pop3 (nice to have);
  • Services: Antivirus Software, Windows Active Directory, Office 365 Administration;
  • Previous Experience with a Service Desk Solution like JIRA/Confluence/LanSweeper will be considered an advantage;
  • Strong internal customer orientation;
  • Strong improvement orientation;
  • Strong process orientation;
  • Excellent oral and written communication required in both English and Romanian;
  • Computer Science, Electronics or similar.
