EveryMatrix is looking for a passionate and dedicated Front End Engineer to join our Frontend team in Bucharest.

Frontend Developer

Business Unit description and Responsibilities:

You will be part of the EMFE department. Working on the group level, EveryMatrix Front-End (short EMFE) is the department that manages everything related to the front-end: from some banners or the need for a logo to a fully functional, cutting-edge online casino. We are composed of 5 teams: Bespoke Team, Business Team, QA Team, Native Apps team and Widgets Team. This position is open inside the Widgets Team.

The primary development language is expected to be JavaScript, and candidates will be able to show expertise in one or more common front-end frameworks (such as Svelte, React, or Angular) while being adaptable and enthusiastic about trying new frameworks or approaches – your passion for programming and delivering great solutions will be greater than your passion for any one framework.

More than just a regular website, this project will entail working with embedded systems and unusual input/ output devices across multiple business verticals – so a passion for computing beyond just the web browser is critical.  Linux/ Unix, Docker, Kubernetes, Node.js, Web Services, REST and SSE – if you’re as happy in a command-line as Chrome, and love these kinds of technologies, this is the role for you.


  • At least two years’ experience in working with modern JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Good understanding of micro front ends and web components.
  • Proven interest in testing, code review, and code quality.
  • Experience working with REST web services and/or web APIs.
  • Ability to work in a Kanban system with fast switching priorities.
  • Good English, both written and spoken.
  • Passion for engineering, not coding.
  • Passion for learning and perfecting skills.
  • Love working in a team and sharing ideas.

Nice to have:

  • Advanced knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, especially HTML custom elements and the Shadow DOM.
  • Experience working on real-time web frontends.
  • Working with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Design patterns, optimization techniques and best practices.
  • Experience with automation: Unit tests, deployments, and other types.
  • Practical experience working with cross platform bundlers as Electron.
