DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

EveryMatrix is looking for a passionate and dedicated DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in Bucharest.

DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop our IaaS platform ensuring scalability and reliability;
  • Design and implement software as a service solutions for our development teams to make use of;
  • Deploy, manage and troubleshoot our container orchestration clusters, running different flavors of Kubernetes;
  • Use infrastructure as code to define and provision the infrastructure;
  • Assist with solving technical problems when they arise.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field;
  • Expert Linux knowledge;
  • Scripting experience is mandatory ( Bash plus at lease one of Python, Ruby, Go);
  • Experience with centralized logging systems, metrics, and tooling frameworks such as ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana;
  • Experience working with containers and container orchestration frameworks in production, preferably Docker and Kubernetes;
  • Experience with configuration management tools;
  • Experience with CI/CD principles and tools;
  • Experience with cloud computing infrastructure, preferably Google Cloud and AWS;
  • Kafka experience is a big plus;
  • MySQL and PostgreSQL experience is a big plus;
  • GitOps exposure and experience with tools like ArgoCD or Flux is a plus.

Work Life Balance:

  • 33 days off per year, including public holidays, rising to 43 by year 5 inside the company
  • 10 sick leave days per year (without a doctor’s note)
  • 40% work from home, over any 3-month period
  • If returning to work soon after having child, 1 year 100% WFH for mothers
  • WFH after child is born – for fathers: 13 weeks of 100% WFH (from the day of the birth of the child)
