Compliance & AML Manager

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Compliance & AML Manager to join our Legal & Compliance department in Malta. The right candidate will hold a key role in a team which handles a variety of interesting compliance projects for a leading B2B iGaming software provider

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Compliance and KYC teams
  • Monitor and review developments within the regulatory environment of the business
  • Maintain compliance with existing licenses and co-ordinate applications for new licenses
  • Advise and support internal stakeholders on compliance issues
  • Implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that business activities are conducted in conformity with the applicable regulations
  • Prepare compliance reports/training and present to internal stakeholders
  • Responsible for the business’ approach to AML and CTF prevention
  • Review and update AML/CTF policies and training material
  • Manage the internal AML/CTF training program
  • Report on AML/CTF status and risk overview
  • Work with the Head of Legal and Compliance and all stakeholders to ensure full adherence to internal processes, procedures and requirements

 

Hard skills:

  • 3rd level qualification in Compliance, Law or Finance
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within the iGaming industry
  • Knowledge of iGaming regulatory landscapes
  • Ability to manage projects and coordinate with various teams with different backgrounds
  • Knowledge on how to do business analysis based on regulatory standards
  • Ability to transcript compliance requirements in business terms
  • Experience in licencing and liaising with regulators
  • Experience with compliance and internal control procedures and frameworks
  • Capacity to write, research and develop processes and procedures
  • Ability to provide advice on compliance matters to stakeholders in a direct and practical manner
  • Fluency in English, including legal English;
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
